Trees are intrinsically lovely because they connote water, fish and game,
even in winter, like this one.
The underburden is also full of wild grain, nuts, herbs, berries, roots and tubers. Our
notion of beauty is shaped by evolved genetic memory, as hunter/gatherers, that provides
us with an attraction for gaining images upon our retinas that will enhance our chances
for survival.
We cannot gain a vision of God, however, not while on this
Earth, at least. But we can surmise His grandeur by extrapolating from many
different directions - through trees, flowers, rocks and minerals, stars and
galaxies, the multitudinous trendlines point to a Majestic God who fills us with awe. That's
why we worship Him in so many different ways. And He would not have it
otherwise.
Cleaning
Gary will clean old artwork that is dirty but can do little if a paint
vehicle has itself yellowed or become discolored. Cleaning solutions are tested
in an inconspicuous spot and Q-Tips (R) are used to clean a painting square inch by
inch. If a shellac, varnish or lacquer has been applied and has yellowed and
become dirty, a solvent must be used to remove it, but is tested to be sure it does
not attack the underlying paint. Cleaning and restoration is done by either the
European or the American protocol. Virtual cleaning is performed as an adjunct.

it is to be framed and/or matted and note its price according to the guidelines given
there. Remember the picture's title or its number in either type of slideshow gallery
sequence (this site's own or FothoThing). Uh oh. you might have to be able to count.

description of the picture if you can, just to make sure, using the feedback
page. Sorry this cumbersome procedure will be changed. Then use your credit
card with PayPal.
Be sure to use the same name on this
site's forms as you will use with
PayPal. We shall install a shopping cart ASAP.

except for a slightly increased shipping fee. We make no profit on shipping.
The slideshow galleries include

pictures on this site.
