I wish I knew what these are called. But they are very pretty and very
photogenic. This picture was taken at the Botanic Garden near Chicago in 2004.
God must like flowers, animals, rocks, minerals, stars and
galaxies - and people - because He made so many of them. This flower seems to be a
kind of grass, like wheat or rice. God sure must have been feeling His oats when He
thought this one up.
Restoration of Old Paintings and Other Kinds of Pictures
Minor and some kinds of major damage can be repaired. Gary uses a microscope to repair paintings.
Colors are matched carefully and the result is invisible to the naked eye. Often
it will be necessary to clean a painting or other picture before it is restored. Cleaning and
restoration is by either the European or the American protocol. This process includes virtual
restoration as an adjunct.
