Wild Wild Roses!
The simplest blossoms are often the best
and
smell much sweeter.
God is sweet.
God is Good.
All the Time.
When roses go wild, they are not ruined. The wild stock on
which hybrid grafts are made takes over if the grafts eventually die off for some reason. We
are the wild rose stock and God does not give up on us because we are not the perfect
paradigm, the perfect show rose. So, we should not try to be. Do not act to
impress others.
Or is it the purple brick road? The Wizard of Oz could not
have imagined a more attractive pathway to heaven.
Paradise is where we live and heaven is now.
So, ask God to forgive you your very humanity and place in his hands your fate, for He loves you like His Son. Trust in Him and your plans will be established. A trumpet for hot weather, God's musical pleasure is in the seasons that make our paradise here on Earth. Just a speck or two. This shows that it has not completely reverted to the wild type. Maybe a bit like us. These have reverted to wild stock. Roses purchased from commercial sources usually are composed of a root and stem base onto which is grafted hybrid shoots that will later grow and bloom according the design. But if the grafts die off, new shoots will sprout and bloom according to the base's own genetic characteristics, which is often a wild type. Among the first blooms of spring, forsythia are one of my favorites. I snuck up on this one and caught her in this classic pose. I had to be quick because these blooms don't last. This color combination is totally delicious! The main thing is - no green. So it will fit in any room where green would be unwelcome. Seek and ye shall find. There are many more flower portraits, here with a particular dominant color to fit any decor. This crowd of pansies all seem to smile at one another. Look for Daffobug #1 elsewhere on this site. It shows a close-up of this cute little critter with all her legs and her nectar sucking proboscis. By this we can tell she is harmless. The hyacinth has little flowers that each look like a tiny trumpet arranged on a stem that could be a manifold allowing them all to be blown at the same time. What a noise they would make! Gives the yellow rose a run for her money. A roadside prize that had to be captured. Whenever I travel down a residential stree, I am amazed at how often I find show quality specimens. Another dominant color with NO GREEN. Well, almost no green.

Just as significant as a whole galaxy or even a galactic cluster, this
blossom exists for itself, entire and complete. It needs no other reason.
Existentialism says that the world may as well be as it seems. We may as well be
as we perceive ourselves. But, contrary to most interpretations of
existentialist thinking, the existential philosophers would never have devoted
their professional lives to a nihilistic, negative, pessimistic philosophy.
Whatever it seems to be on the surface, existentialism must mean the opposite.
We can influence our own perception, our attitude. Life is not a zero sum game.
It counts. You are a star too!
